The Goan vindaloo  is a really classic Goan curry . The name vindaloo is derived from Portuguese dish called carne de vinha d’alhos (meat marinated in wine vinegar and garlic).




Red Chillies, Black pepper, Coriander, Cloves, Cinnamom, cumin seeds, Turmeric, etc.


For 1 kg Pork, Steak or Chicken Add 1 ½ Tablespoon of Goa2Gulf Goan Vindaloo Masala, 1 Tomato, 2 Large Onions, a piece of Ginger, 10 flakes of Garlic and 15 gms Tamarind. Grind all to a fine Paste. Saute this mixture in 3 Tablespoon of oil till mixture leaves the side of the Pan. Add water and bring to boil. Add previously boiled meat and cook for 15 minutes. Add Vinegar and salt to taste.
