Sorpotel, is a dish of Portuguese origin commonly cooked in Goa , Mangalore and East Indians of Mumbai. The meats/organs are first parboiled, then diced and sauteed before being cooked in a spicy and vinegary masala.

Ingredients

Chillies, Caoriander, black Pepper , Cloves, Cinnamon, Cummin seeds, Turmeric, Etc.

Directions

For 1 Kg Pork and ½ kg Pork Liver. Boil all the meat, cut into fine cubes and roast on a non stick pan till brown and keep aside. Add 2 Tablespoon of Goa2Gulf Goan Sorpotel Masala, 4 Green Chillies, 3 Large Onions, a piece of Ginger, 1 pod Garlic and 15 gms Tamarind. Grind All to a Fine Paste. Saute this mixture in 3 Tablespoon of oil till mixture leaves the side of the Pan. Add the roasted meat and cook for 30 minutes. Add vinegar and Salt to taste
